Not only can extremely small geometries with tolerances of +\/- 0.05mm be realized, the material load is also lower in terms of a punching process and vacuum suction replaces the annoying clamping process with a material holder. The INSEVIS S7 CPU with a width of 27mm includes 2x Ethernet, CAN, 2x Modbus and 2 serial interfaces. Extensive S7 programs can be handled with the 1MB working memory and 8MB load memory. Programming is done with the Siemens TIA Portal or with the Siemens Simatic Manager.
